Ah, but gyarados can learn "strength" and they doesn't have any arms, so why not dragonair?
Yes, dragonite can learn strength, though usually I teach mine "fly" as it's a more useful move for getting around and in battle. I can't remember which of my main team I gave strength to in the end, possibly charizard, I think my heracross has rock-smash, my lanturn and dragonair both have surf and my scyther of course has cut. Other moves like flash and rock-climb I usually end up teaching to pokemon I don't use much otherwise since they're not used as much and not that useful in battle.
True that. I forgot about Gyrados. You've got a point, there! I ain't got nothing to counter back that argument.
Sounds good! On my main team I taught Charizard Fly, Feraligator knows Surf and Cut, Electrode knows Flash, Lugia knows Waterfall (though that move is rarely ever used outside battle), Arbok has Headbutt and Onix (traded with an NPC in Cherrygrove at the beginning of the game) accidentally became an HM slave before I noticed. XD He knows Dig, Strength, Rock Climb and Rock Smash. I don't use him often, anyway.
Soon as I get my main team up to level 90, 95 or 100 if I have enough patience I'll store them and form a second team with my weaker Pokémon. They're on levels 40-50+ so I guess it will be nice.

Observational humour is one of my favourite types of humour.
That dragonair must think that it needs limbs to use strength but, look at onix.
